Geocache Description:

Canada's First Geocacher, eastriver, the placer/owner of Canada's first geocache, GCBBA (formerly GC41) will be hosting an Event (with HondaGirl2006) to meet and greet fellow Geocachers from the Winnipeg area.

The Event will be on THURSDAY 17 Nov from 7 til 9 PM

I am staying at a nearby hotel and can be coaxed in to chatting after the Event.

The Event will take place in the Kings Head Pub and Eatery, 120 King Street. Look for the table with the Nova Scotia flag flying.

I am bringing special buttons for anyone who has visited Canada's First Geocache. If you "plan to attend" please indicate if you have visited GCBBA so that I can make note of your name and ensure that you get a button. I will be giving a short narrative on how Geocaching started in Canada, and what Geocaching was like in the early years. I will have the original log from GCBBA with me as well. There will be Draw Prizes for some Nova Scotia paraphenalia, as well as a draw for the FTF.

PS: I am not a Bluenoser. I was born in Fergus, ON.
