Gunung Kawi Temple - Off the beaten track! Traditional Cache

Gunung Kawi Temple - definitely worth a visit! As the neighbouring cache explains about the temple, we want to guide you to where obviously not many people go and we only found it on accident ourselves.

When heading the way up from the lovely Gunung Kawi temple area there is a small path leading to the left, just above the rice fields and below the restaurant. This is what we call "off the beaten track".

Not many people actually recognize this little path and actually go there, mostly only local worshippers. Along the fields you will find small natural waterfalls, but even a bit further another temple of similar type as the rest of Gunung Kawi. This was worth it enough to place a geocache there and guide you there, as you will certainly see more than the average visitor. A nice walk and pure silence in this remote area!
