Here's a horrible story, too long forgotten ...

In 1940, to where you are right now, there was the powder keg of Veckring camp and the ammunition depot. A young recruit died this Halloween evening and was buried there. Since his tomb was opened, the legend says that lurks in the woods Hackenberg every night.
