Time for another walk I think and as this one enjoys some interesting and ever changing views I have named it the “view” series. I can never be accused of not being literal! The walk is entirely on a track and road but in places the track is very muddy and so not really suitable for pushchairs. One small part of the walk runs through a field which had highland cattle in recently so dogs will need to be on a lead here.
This series can be combined with the “side” series for an extra long walk. Gateside is on the route of this series so is worth grabbing as you will walk right by it. Please bring your own pen and tweezers as you will need both for some of the cache containers. After finding Allt y grug view you will come to a liitle crossroads. Make sure you turn right here onto the main track. The only route without a footpath sign but it is one. Keep bearing left as you come up the track until you hit the road.The GZ is one of my favourite spots as the mountain looks quite forbidding from this angle and it always seems to look different every time you see it. The cache is a disguised clip lock container.
