Geocache Description:

Lacey Township is known for it's beautiful and well maintained parks. This series - LPS (Lacey Park Series) features some of Lacey's most well known and perhaps some not so well known parks in the township.

Welcome to Lacey's brand spanking new park: Bayfront Park!

Bayfront park features two playgrounds, a gazebo, walking trails along Barnegat Bay, and fitness equipment. The park officially opened on July 19th, 2017. The Township of Lacey applied to the New Jersey EDA for a grant to restore Forked River Bay Front Park which was devastated by Superstorm Sandy in October 2012. The project is being made possible by a CDBG DR NJEDA Grant in the amount of $1,239,196.75.
