A great new trail that is accessed at the Chilliwack Community Forest. This is a 13 km return hike with a cumulative gain of 1300 metres.
The trail climbs a ridge through pristine forest. Plenty of towering old growth along the way. When you pop out of the forest you will be rewarded with spectacular views. The trail then carries on down to the lookout about 10 minutes hike losing a bit of elevation. From here are great views of the Fraser Valley as well as Mt Cheam and LadyPeak.
Bring plenty of water as there are no sources along the way. Allow 4 1\2 to 9 hours for the hike.
There are 4 tent pads built below the lookout if you want to do an overnight trip.
This trail will eventually connect with the trails at Mt Thurston.
