The Southern Access Corridor is a poled route beside New Zealand Defence Force land and provides access to the Kaimanawa Forest Park from (nearby to) the summit of the Desert Rd.
This geocache can be found adjacent to the carpark, which is on public land. Defence land is to the south, and entry is prohibited.
If you intend to use the access corridor, please pay strict attention to the signage, and do not stray into defence land to the south of the poles.
