A Small sized tubular cache hidden on a footpath between Viridor woods and the Three sisters nature reserve. Please mind the ditch at the side it's quite deep. Not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.
The Terrier Series is a series of caches which are placed around Viridor Woods in Bamfurlong, Wigan. Viridor Woods is split into two sections which a road runs through. Viridor woods was originally a mine and slag heaps but then ended up in the hands of the Viridor Waste company. The company planned on using it as a landfill site, but once the residents protested the company gave the land to the Forestry Commission. Viridor woods is now a beautiful walk. On one side it leads onto the Three Sisters recreation area and nature reserve and on the other lads to footpaths that end up on Ashton Heath. Please enjoy and respect the land, its a beautiful place.
