I guess one of the inevitable side effects of creating a series that helps a fellow cacher keep a consecutive days streak going is that you unintentionally forget about other friends that are working on their own streaks. This little series is to fix my prior blunder and to give a little extra hand to one of my favorite caching families - the AC/DC Family. (Team PumpJack - I will create a series for you when you start your next streak!)
I started seeing this geonic on logs a little over 5 years ago. Little did I know then - but, they had already started on their streak. I soon met the patriarch of the family and learned about the genesis of the name which made me like it even more. Over the years I have had an opportunity to get to know the entire family (and ride in the Frankentruck) and can't say enough good things about them - as one of my fellow cachers said - if there is a nicer set of people out there I have not met them!
As of 10/9/16 they are on 1564 consecutive days of caching - which puts them at #89 for longest streaks in the US and #9 for Texas streaks. That is incredibly impressive!
So as the boys in AC/DC say - WE SALUTE YOU! May your streak continue!
