Geocache Description:

In 1964 the Park and Recreation Commission strongly urged the city to build an indoor-outdoor swimming pool as an integral part of the new Junior High School. A new pool was badly needed to ease the overcrowding at the Neenah Pool
in Recreation Park but the cost was estimated at about $400,000. Unfortunately the City Council rejected the plan as an extravagant scheme the city could ill afford.

Henry Swatscheno so loved the land he added a proviso to the deed making his farm the property of the city. He asked the city to dedicate a minimum of fifteen acres of the woodlot as a public recreation facility.
It was to have a bronze dedication plaque.

The Swatscheno Nature Woods and the Park Shelter were dedicated on May 19, 1974.

_______________

This geocache is one of several that have lived in this 20 acre patch of woods over the last 12-13 years.

This is an Offset cache which by definition is: "An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a Multi-Cache."

Sometimes, the "hints" have been a distance and bearing from an object at ground zero. Sometimes, the "hints" have been values to be added/subtracted from the decimal minutes of the posted coordinates. Sometimes the "hints" have been something else.

WP1 of this cache takes you to a bronze plague. Once there use it and the question below to find the final coordiantes.

"Back In The Day" many field solves were multis like these as opposed to Mystery Caches.
