The cache is a small Log Only cache and my second attempt to place a cache in Argyle.I want to bring people to this little town and see some of the interesting things in the area. The cache is placed on private property with permission from Steven Webber. The cache is NOT located indoors on inside the patio area of the nearby business.
After you visit the cache, stop in and grab some food or a drin or see some of the local attractions. One of my favorites is the nearby Toy Train Barn. Or visit Star Theatre, also known as Partridge Hall, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Or spend some time at nearby Yellowstone Lake State Park, where there is a swimming area, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Boat and fishing as well as hiking trails and groomed cross country ski trails. The adjacent 4,000 acre wildlife area offers extensive horse trails and a shooting range.
