just ahead going towards hurleyville was browns pond freight depot witch was were major ice houses were located along the line there was two sidings one 1500ft long and the other was 3000ft long and eight or more very large icehouses
had to use my metal detector to find this one it was under a layer of dirt and leaves this is also part of the rail trail so the posted signs should be on the other side of the rail bed not were they are
