LETS GO FIND PIKACHU!
Pikachu wants to play hide and go seek with you. Once you find Pikachu, he will tell you where his secret stache is. Before you can find the cache, you need to know a few things. With this being a Wherigo cache you need to grab your cell phone that has a Wherigo app on it and download the Wherigo cartridge for this cache. HERE is the link to the Wherigo download page. If you have an older Garmin Oregon, Garmin Colorado or Garmin Nuvi 500 you can download the cartridge directly from the Wherigo website to your Garmin unit using the "related web page" link above.
If you choose to download the cartridge via one of the Wherigo apps, you will need to download the "Pocket PC" version of the cartridge. It is the ONLY way it will play on your phone.
With the housekeeping done, lets move on to the cache itself. This is the first of this type of Wherigo that I have done. This cartridge requires interacting with characters within zones. I tried to make this as simple as possible to avoid any cartridge freeze ups and other issues. I tested the cartridge via the Wherigo app for iPhones and it worked just fine without any issues.
The listed coordinates for the cache is for the beginning of the Wherigo cartridge. There's plenty of parking near the gate. To get the final coordinates for the cache, you will have to complete the Wherigo cartridge. Dont worry, you will have help along the way thanks to a few of Pikachu's buddies. Once you find Pikachu, you will find his secret stache. You will be rewarded for your efforts if you are one of the first three cachers to find Pikachu.
