On 17 September 2016 a new pedestrian suspension bridge in Wakamow Valley crossing the Moose Jaw River was completed construction by the 38 Combat Engineer Regiment (38 CER).
The suspension bridge is of timber construction with a span of 44m (144ft). It was funded by the Trans Canada Trail, the City of Moose Jaw and the Wakamow Valley Development Fund and will serve to connect Moose Jaw and complete the Trans Canada Trail 100% in the province of Saskatchewan.
The bridge is located at south end of 4th Ave SW, heading southeast to the bridge site approximately 300m from the end of 4th Ave SW.
