THE CACHING THROUGH THE SNOW TRADITION
This New Jersey tradition, held first Sunday in December, is one of the oldest geocaching events in the Northeast. It was started in 2004 as the first Caching through the snow event by Team Rampant Lion, (TRL) through CTTS # 5 in 2008, when TRL moved to CA. The Northern New Jersey cachers, NNJC kept the tradition alive and hosted the 2009 CTTS # 6 through today ~ 2016 CTTS # 13. After ten years (2013) in Sussex County NNJC decided to move CTTS into Morris County and change the locations.
