Twelve months in this year there were.
Sped silently past in a in a huried blur.
Wasn't it Christmas just the other day?
In a blink of an eye time slipped away.
Under the watchful eye of our mountain high.
Etched in granite against the Cape Town sky.
We lived, and laughed, and worked and played.
Searched for many a hidden treasure in its shade.
But 2016 will hold a memory for years to come.
A Cape Town Mega week, second no none.
From around the World they came to our shore.
To see our City, make friends, and so much more.
Days stretched longer, sunrays perfect for a tan.
A year-end event next to the Silvermine dam.
Picnic baskets under the shade of the trees.
Will you join with us, if you please.
From midday to three should do just swell.
For there are so many stories we have to tell.
Near the wall, on the bank, there we will be.
For this is the year end event, you see.
Our best wishes goes to each and every one of you.
This Christmas, and New Years, your dreams come true.
