Nothing better than the great outdoors! I remember fondly, taking trips with my parents, brother and family dog to Ridley Creek State Park in PA(near where I grew up) as well as our trips north with my family to the Adirondacks in upstate NY(Lake Placid, NY to be specific). Those trips started when I was 4 yrs old. My parents introduced me and my brother Scott to hiking mountains(see 46'er club), fishing, wild life, and other amazing outdoor activities! Over the years, I introduced my now wife(jennay1230) and oldest son(conman9911) to the wonder of hiking in Adirondack Mountains and have introduced my wife, son(conman9911), brother, nephew, parents and countless friends to the geocaching world. I can't thank my parents enough for teaching me a love of being outside and especially my love of hiking! It gave me an appreciation for nature and has allowed me to find hidden gems as well as allowed me to push my physical and mental limits. To me there is nothing better than clearing your mind and spending endless hours out hiking in all the beauty that nature provides. This cache is placed in honor of my two amazing parents!
