The Roaring Creek Trail is an 8 mile trail through the Weiser State Forest Roaring Creek Tract located between Route 54 (Natalie) in the west and Route 42 (Aristes) in the east. It is a great place to stop by when visiting Knoebels or Centralia (10 minutes or less from the west and east trailheads respectively). The South Branch of Roaring Creek flowing through the area serves as a consumer water supply through Aqua PA. In October 2003 the land was designated a state forest and opened to the public for hiking, biking, walking, boating, and catch and release fishing. The main trail has several side paths where most of the caches are located. To access this cache from the west trailhead, go east on Roaring Creek Trail to the blue bridge at the east end of McWilliams Reservoir. Cross the bridge and check for snakes sunning themselves on the rocks under the bridge. Take the path marked by red paint on the trees. Cache is a plastic tupperware container.
