Gordy Road Recreation Area in Fort Pierce is mostly used for motorcycle and ATV riding, and mountain biking. There's also a disc golf course. A picnic pavilion and composting restrooms are provided, and there is a small fishing pier. A 1/2 mile interpretive hiking trail runs through the scrubby flatwoods.
