Geocache Description:

A riverside cache, as a tribute to the Bunyips.

This cache is located on the land of the Darug people. We acknowledge their ongoing ownership of this land and pay respect to their past and present elders. Bunyips are traditionally associated with the Murray, not the Parramatta river, but who knows whats lurking in these waters? From the cache location you can also get a great view of the Flying Fox colony - from a respectful distance - and the teeming birdlife. FYI, flying foxes generally roost across the river, but may sometimes be closer to the cache, just in case anyone is uncomfortable with little wild furry things dangling in the trees above them. Please take care where you walk, so as not to disturb the local wildlife, which includes lizards and snakes. We have left a riddle for you, in the logbook - if you figure out the answer, please log it, and share your own riddle for others to solve.
