Goin’ t’ rec’ #24… Ladybrook
The Cache
The cache container you are looking for is a magnetic micro therefore you will need to bring your own pen, we also advise bringing tweezers that may be useful in extracting the logs.
Also, due to the location of the hide, please be aware of people enjoying the facilities at the park where kids may be playing and dog walkers are commonplace thus increasing the potential of being muggled when searching for the caches and signing the logs. This cache is also overlooked by a few neighboring houses so beware of twitchy curtains!
We hope you enjoy searching for this cache and request that the cache is left as found and well hidden so that it does not get spotted by non-cachers.
The Series
When we were little we did not have the distraction of games consoles and things that kept us indoors and, although the such was available in the form of a Sinclair Spectrum or the old Atari console, these systems were used very seldomly and mainly on very rainy days which meant most of the time was spent outdoors.
The local recreation parks were a popular choice in which to spend time with friends kicking a football about or enjoying other park facilities and were places where you felt safe, part of the community and enjoy time spent with friends both old and new.
Kids were regularly heard by parents and friends saying "Gooin darn t’ rec" on weekends and school holidays and this series highlights such places.
We hope you enjoy the cache

Happy Caching!
