In the Snowflake grid, each enclosed polygon has four sides. The number of lines that meet at each dot is where the variation comes. Mostly 4 lines meet at each point, but there are also cases of 2, 3 and 6 lines meeting.
To work out the location of this cache, you need to do the following:
- Solve the puzzle below (see the cache listing for Slitherlink Boot Camp for the rules about how to solve Slitherlink puzzles).
- Locate the letters a through to r in the puzzle (i, l o are omitted). For each letter, its numeric value is the number of lines around the cell.
The cache can be found at S 43 32.ABC + 0.005 E 172 33.DEF - 0.008, where:
A = a + b
B = c + d + e
C = f + g + h
D = j + k
E = m + n
F = p + q + r
The checksum for A to F is 19.
Note: The cache is in its third hide. ABC / DEF give the coordinates of the original hide (you need to add 0.005 to the minutes of the South coordinate and subtract 0.008 from the minutes of the East coordinate to get the coordinates of the present hide).
The cache is a magnetic key holder on the obvious structure (stomach/chest height).
