Our Scout Troup sometimes visits caches when out hiking & thought we'd create one of our own. So this one is our first attempt & we've therefore kept it simple & on a footpath we regularly use. We look forward to seeing whose visited us when on this hike route.
On this side of the personnel gate you should be safe from straying golf balls! Our cache is close to the ground and should remain hidden so long as no-one decides to have a tidy-up. To place the cache our Scouts constructed a temporary bridge across a small ditch but they otherwise didn't stray at all far from the footpath/bridle-way.
