Geocache Description:

Have you or a loved one developed a severe case of Cabin Fever?

Are you experiencing restlessness, irritability, paranoia, irrational frustration with everyday objects, forgetfulness, laughter, excessive sleeping or an urge to go outside even in the rain, snow, dark or hail to find a geocache?

Fear not, your friends at MAGPI have the cure for what ails you.

Join your fellow cachers for a little winter time entertainment at East Marion Park in the Police Reserve Building on Sunday, January 29, from 11:00 am until 3:30 pm.

Since we MAGPI like to eat (a lot) we'll be providing some staples (pepperoni rolls & chips). The rest is up to you. If you are feeling compelled to go all crazy on us and make queso dip from scratch or something the facility has a full kitchen. But remember, you do NOT have to bring anything to be let in the door, we'll just like you better if you do!

Seeing as how we are out to cure your Cabin Fever, the gang over at MAGPI has a few things up their collective sleeves. There will be additional games, but these are ones for which you may want to be prepared.

Snowman Building (Weather permitting. This is the 6th year, we have yet to have more than a dusting of snow. Maybe THIS will be the year. If we have a sharknado instead, perhaps we can decorate the sharks.)

*We'll provide carrots and rocks. You are welcome to bring whatever additional supplies you feel you might need: scarves, sticks, mittens, top hats, googles and whatever else it is hipster snowmen wear these days.

*Prizes handed out for Most Creative / Tallest / Best Stereotypical Snowman

Re-gift Game

*Part of this game requires participants to be outside, but not for very long.

*In order to participate in this particular game, you will need bring a "gift" that you think someone else might enjoy. It should be wrapped as tackily as possible. (I don't want to stress the words "tacky" or "cheap" but I think you get the idea. And should you really, really want to participate but not have anything suitably tacky, let us know in advance and someone will go down into the basement and see what cool thing we can find.)

Find the X

*Use your GPSr to get as close as possible to a predetermined set of coordinates. These coords are being taken with a regular old hand held Garmin 60 CSX GPS receiver from 2009.
