I really hope this cache works out. I'd been asked to put one here some time ago and neglected it due to muggle activity. So now with winter we maybe able to get it kicked off, then it won't be so busy in summer when more foot traffic is here. Not original just neat structure I found and decided to put out. Two different caches put together though a small it turns out to be a micro. Odd........

In 2009 the world celebrated the 250th year of the death of composer George Frideric Handel. Originally designed as a Easter piece The Messiah was performed in the Musick Hall in Dublin on April 13, 1742. Though Handel was from London, Dublin was an up coming socialite community and Handel had been handled by many critics over the last couple years in London. Good thing he moved it to Dublin because it was an immediate success there and once in London continued it success.

By the early 1900's the US more than Britain started playing the Messiah as a Christmas performance due to the first third of it involving the birth of the Messiah. It is mostly world wide considered a Christmas piece now.

On April 6th 1759 Handel very ill insisted he attend his annual fundraiser for orphans with the playing of the piece. He donated a portion of the original proceeds to debtors prisons and a Dublin hospital, he would of been a multi millionaire by today standards. Eights days later he died.

Mozart in 1789 paid a tribute to Handel and re-orchestrated The Messiah. I have seen both and it is clear Mozart is humble to Handel as he stated in 1789.

The Great Ending!
