A series of seven caches with a Christmas theme,placed with children and dogs in mind. Most caches have swops and a log but no pen/pencil.log but no pen/pencil. Ponies and a sheep in field, mind the barbed wire and thorns.
This is a series of caches starting in Badgeworth.The route takes you through a churchyard and several fields. The ground was good today apart from the last field where the earth stuck to your boots. Recommend wellies/boots. There were two ponies and a sheep in one field who seemed friendly and only wanted to see if we had food for them. No other livestock apart from a beautiful deer, although fields obviously used for cows and sheep sometimes. The route is flat but there are some stiles which were not always dog friendly. Some also had brambles/barbed wire near them so please be careful, but all were passable. We would have liked this to be a circular route but not possible so it is a there and back. The caches are quite brightly coloured so please try to camoflauge when you put them back. There are some good views of the surrounding area including the Church on Chosen Hill.
