We went via the boat ramp and walked along the mud flats. (please check the tides if you are going this way.)
Positives!!!! No hill climbing, only muddy feet-advised to wear gumboots. If you enjoy walking you might like to walk along the track on the island. (Which is Terrain 2 otherwise boat ramp is a shorter way, terrain is 4)
The cache has a log book, pencil and sharpner.
Remember the gates are closed between sunset and sunrise.
