Meet And Greet At Abbey Road

When :  
    January 30, 2017  6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Where :  
   Coordinates given above (bench at the crossroads Abbey Rd / Grove End Rd)

What :  (optional)
  1. Chat with nice like-minded people about our beautiful hobby. 
  2. Discover and / or exchange trackables and wooden geocoins. 
  3. Walk together (like the Beatles?!?) across the famous crosswalk.
  4. Take together a funny snapshot from the Abbey Road webcam.


The Story behind the event:

Hello everybody! I'm a geocacher from Germany. Last year I visited London for the first time. I immediately loved this beautiful, exciting city and the nice people. During my much too short stay I  also visited as cacher - beside the usual sightseeing locations  - some nice geocaches. As a music and Beatles fan, of course, a visit to the famous Abbey Road Studios was also on the agenda. And of course, I've done it like the Beatles and crossed the perhaps most famous crosswalk in the world. This was a really magic moment and a nice experience to me!  This year I would like to come back here and I thought it would be a nice idea to do this with like-minded people. So I would be glad if you would accept my invitation.

The first twenty-five event visitors will receive a wooden geocoin which will be specially made for this event, and for the friends of these little colorful pictures (such as me) there also will be a banner!
