This event will be one of two drop off points for a year long race of travelers.
The bugs will be transported out of our region to begin the race.
Anyone can participate as long as you have a traveler to enter... This can be a Travel Bug, Travel tag, Geocoin or proxy.
I will have a few extras at the event in the case of late planners wanting to join in on the fun also, Just bring an item to attach to the tag.
Quantities are limited.
Just a couple of rules....You cannot move your own bug and you cannot hinder the movement of anyone else's bug.
And please, no large travel bugs....Manhole cover, walking stick, traffic cone...You get the idea!
The bug should fit comfortably into a small Rubbermaid type container.
When creating your travel bug, please put in the description that it is in a race and shouldn't be placed in puzzle caches or in seldom found hard to obtain caches, also post a photo of your bug on its page.

Next year we will meet to crown the winners...and to do it all over again!
I will be hosting two events in the upstate in hopes of giving everyone a chance to enter and to not miss out on the fun!

If you cannot attend one of these events and would like to race a bug, contact me through my profile no later than January 1st and I will make arrangements to have your bug mailed to me in time for the race.
