Denna cahce tillägnas nyårsdagen. Nyårsdagen innebär kanske att man tar nya tag, stärkt av sina nyårslöften som man förhoppningsfullt inte har hunnit bryta ännu. Det är också första dagen på den kalla och snörika perioden januari och februari.
Vid gömman har du fin utsikt mot Norrängskyrkans klockstapel. Den flyttades hit från Vänjaurbäck i november 2013. Ännu har nog inte någon nyårsdikt reciterats här, men visst kan du nästan höra uppläsningen...

Ring själaringning öfver land och vatten!

Dikten Nyårsklockan reciteras traditionsenligt sedan 1895 vid nyårsnattens tolvslag på Skansen i Stockholm. Originalet Ring Out, Wild Bells är skrivet av Alfred Tennyson 1850 och översattes fyrtio år senare tämligen fritt av Edvard Fredin.

The church close to the cache (Norrängskyrkan) has a belfry, a bell tower, originally erased in a formerly flowering but today diminishing village not too far from Lycksele. The belfry was moved and rebuilt in this place as late as in 2013. The belfry is very beautiful, as is the church itself, being modern architecture. Do not hesitate to visit the church!
I hope, as a vistor of the place of the cache, you may hear Tennyson’s poem ringing in your ears:

Note on this poem: Since this poem after 40 years of lingering finally was to translated to Swedish, it has actually been the our national poem recited on the moment of New Year's Eve; and that is since the year of 1895 at Skansen, Stockholm. First it was accessible for the visiting audience only, then for a larger audience through radio broadcasting, and now of course available on television and even on the internet – every year!
