this one is a great one for the familly to come and have a bbq or play. Lots of swaps but be careful of muggles as it is a popular spot.
Tailrace is a large park in West Tamar region of Launceston. It has several BBQ's dotted around the park but if wanting to use one it is best to get in early. There is a great playground with a big challenging spiderweb for the geokids to climb and a smaller one for those not too keen on heights. There is a lovely boardwalk around the rivers edge with a lookout on the Tamar River where you can get a great view of the city. Plenty of space for a kick of the football or a smash with the cricket bat.
This cache is a large container painted black for camouflage. Lots of swaps. Pen inside. It is an easy to access spot but with a high muggle count plus ducks for company.
