Geocache Description:

sss

This cache is born out of a trip south with my daughter. For several years now, she has been pole vaulting for her school's track team. Tonight we travel to a place that will give her extra practice time. Of course, after I drop her off, I must kill some time while she trains. After grabbing a few caches, one is placed and thus this listing. At the present time, my daughter's PR (personal record) is 6' 6". Maybe, just maybe, after some more practice we shall see here break the 10' mark. Stay tuned.

For this puzzle you will be solving for the following:

N42 AB. CDE  W073 FG. H/2 IJ

(X= # not needed for puzzle)

My knowledge of this sport is limited but here is what I found out. In the year AXXX it was added to the Olympics for women. Took long enough since this event was present at the first Olympics in GXEB. The idea is simple. An athlete runs downs a track of at least CX meters long with a pole ranging from 10' to 17' long. Once at the end they use the pole to "vault" themselves over a height marker. The one who clears the highest marker wins. Did you know that Silva of Brazil set a new record at this year's Olympics? He cleared a height of H. JI meters. Pretty high. The women's record was set in 2008 at 5.05m.

A little perspective:

At a local high school event an athlete needed to clear 8' to compete. At the event the highest height cleared
was 11' 6".

Oh, I forgot to tell you. D= 3 and F=4

and to clarify, once you obtain the value for H simly divide by 2 for the coordinate value.
