Every time we have passed here we have noticed this little aedicule so we wanted to share this place with you. The picture represents the aedicule in Christmas version.

The aedicule is situated along the "Bigattiera" road (namely via Torretta), one way from San Piero a Grado (PI) to Tirrenia (PI) that represents an alternative to go to the seaside on summer.

This place was a also a university centre for Biochemistry, Biophysics and Genetics. There are also old laboratories of Genetics and an Agronomy school. Now everything is abandoned and waits for someone interested in the area.

The aedicule stays there undisturbed and someone still takes care of it, cleaning and bringing some flowers.

As said, all the buildings are abandoned, so take care if you want to visit them and remember that it is private property.

The cache is a small container hidden near the aedicule. The original content of the cache is: logbook, some swag to exchange and a geocoin. You should BRING A PEN to sign. Please be aware to put the cache back exactly in the way you found it. Happy geocaching!
