Annnnnnnndddddddd They're OFFFF..... this one may or may not be difficult to find, but i hope it will be fun. there are many paths that lead to this cache, choose wisely and you will be fine, choose the wrong path and it could be a long journey around the houses. didnt want this one to be too easy, but not difficult either. see also long description Proximity to the River, and paths. challenging when it gets dark as well, but could be fun!
You can hear the tannoy now of this once glorious event, way back when. This entire field was once the site of the Welsh Grand National! and later I Think pony and trap racing.... fond memories of this field, loads of history...great place to visit and relax. Bring the kids and the dogs... sports on the weekends football and rugby, and brilliantly maintained by Cardiff County Council Parks dept. fantastic job they do as well... There was also, years ago, a mini golf course, and a bowling green, sadly all gone. But just beyond the boundries of the field are the allotments, if you fancy getting your hands dirty.. a series of caches to show fellow cachers this wonderful place. Be careful because of the proximity to the river if following certain paths, the same river that revealed a dagger.. i have lived in the area for years and never knew this location existed, so we all get to see something new. have had to move this cache several times to get all six in this field. so hopefully this will be the last time. happy caching! leave comments, have fun and stay safe!
