Da Bush Man and I decided to hike Ayr this afternoon and placed some caches along the way. Winter provides a wonderful opportunity to hike trails and experience nature in it's raw form. Neither people nor the creatures have many places to hide during the winter months, providing a terrific opportunity to understand how the creatures of the forest survive the harsh conditions.
This cache was placed for an amazing friend of mine who prefers old school ammo cans and classic hides.
I have used winter friendly attribute as we hiked in 20cm of fresh snow and GZ was free of snow and clearly visible. I inspected the area carefully to ensure that the only thing hiding here is the cache
