This is an easy letterbox hybrid cache with limited camouflage for those cachers who want to add to their stats.
This is not the original location of the cache - it was much more difficult. However, as I looked for the best spot to place it, I heard a distinctive sound. I was eye to eye with another winter snow bird, a male burrowing owl. We exchanged words of wisdom and I agreed that he has full squatter rights to the location. Needless to say I quietly withdrew and moved the cache location to another area. The result is a great geocaching story but a very easy cache find.
There is a stamp included in the cache but no stamp pad as it tends to have problems in the Arizona heat. You will have to bring your own stamp pad. This as a good cache for a beginner or for kids to try. There is easy access to the cache from the South
Please be aware this is the desert and caution is needed.. Watch out for snakes, scorpions, thorns, etc. Most everything in the desert sticks, picks, or bites. Happy Holidays.
