Geocache Description:

So far, only two Eden Prairie High School baseball players have ever made the major leagues.

Neil Wagner – A 2002 Eden Prairie graduate, Neil was drafted by the Cleveland Indians out of North Dakota State University in the 21st round of the 2005 draft.  In 7 minor league seasons, Neil holds a career 3.77 ERA while striking out 10.2 hitters per 9 innings pitched.  He made his Major League debut with the Oakland A's in 2011 and holds a MLB career ERA of 4.92 in parts of three seasons.  As of 2016, Neil was pitching for the Durham Bulls, AAA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Cole Devries -- A 2003 graduate of EPHS, Cole signed with the Minnesota Twins after spending three seasons at the University of Minnesota.  He made his Major League debut with the Twins in 2012 and started 16 games, going 5-5 with a 4.11 ERA.  Over the course of two seasons, Cole threw 102.2 Major League innings with a 5.08 ERA.
