There used to be a cache here, to mark a convenient but lesser known alternative access to the Los Gatos Creek Trail. It disappeared a few years ago, and I assumed that one would eventually reappear. And sure enough, now one has.
While the Los Gatos Creek Trail is only open until a half hour past sunset, it's legal to access this spot later. This is just a basic cache to mark the trail access, nothing fancy.
