Where: Canyon Lake Shelter #3 - 4011 Jackson Blvd. Enter at Park Drive parking lot.
When: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm Saturday July 22, 2017
11:00 am: Socializing, hanging out, share geocaching stories, swap and discover trackables, etc.
12:00 noon: BBQ at the Shelter. We will provide meat, buns, condiments, plates, etc. Please bring a side or desert to share, if you wish. You are responsible for your own beverages, park regulations state absolutely NO alcohol.
1:00 pm: White Elephant gift exchange. (optional to participate, or just hang out to watch the fun!)
If you wish to participate, bring a wrapped, unmarked gift. **Edited to add: Anything goes, from the simple and basic, to the bizarre. Try to keep it under $10, and family friendly.** You will get a numbered ticket in exchange. Players may steal another person's gift a maximum of 2 times. 3:00 pm: End of event. Volunteers needed to help clean up shelter for the next group reservation, which begins at 5:00 pm.
IMPORTANT: Please state in your Will Attend log how many are in your party, and what you plan to bring as a side or desert (if any). We need this information so we can be sure to purchase a sufficient quantity of burgers, dogs, and buns for everyone to enjoy.
