The event is from 2p-4p at The Rock Yard, Castle Rock, CO
The theme of the contest is YOUR BEST INTERPRETATION OF THE BEST GEOCACHING CONTAINER! Your container must be at the Colorado event location to compete.
Rules:
(1) Every container submitted under the following categories MUST have space LARGE enough to hold 2 'D' Batteries inside of the container - where the log and swag would go, while the container is closed completely. Any items not fitting this requirement, will be submitted under either of the 2 new categories of Micro or Nano.
(2) Geocache container must be modified in some way
(3) Geocache container must fit the THEME of YOUR BEST INTERPRETATION OF THE BEST GEOCACHING CONTAINER for your category (fitting the rules stated)
(4) ALL Entries will be on display anonymously for voting by ALL attendees for one or more of the following categories (each container will be placed under 1 category, but ALL qualify for BEST Overall container).
Contest Entry Categories:
- Best Geocache Container OVERALL
- Best "Nano" Container - NEW for this event
- Best "Micro" Container - NEW for this event
The following categories must be able to contain 2 D batteries in the space saved for SWAG and Log Book
- Best "Small" Container
- Best "Regular" Container
- Best "Large" Container
- Best "Camouflaged" Container
- Best "Puzzle" Container
Submissions for ALL categories will be verified for their category by both RMD and GCCO Members at the time of registration at the event.
After the exhibit of submissions and voting by ALL attendees, the tally will be made by RMD and GCCO members before awards are honored to our guests.
There will be a variety of prizes, which will be based on the categories submitted; which will be furnished by both RMD and GCCO committees.
Must submit a container to win a prize.
