Waiatarua Mystery Mystery Cache

Waiatarua Reserve is a large wetland, home to pukekos, ducks and other water birds, with gravel paths suitable for walking, jogging and cycling. This mystery cache requires to you to find the coordinates hidden in four other caches in the reserve to reveal the final location in a secluded part of the park.

Note: the posted coordinates are bogus, and show a good place to park at one of the reserve’s entrances.

The four other caches you need to find are:

• GC6YE0C: Gum Tree Walkway
• GC6YE0E: Forgotten Lookout
• GC6YE0F: Dog Pond Woods
• GC6YE0G: Kite Tree

Each container has two letter/number combinations inside the lid of the container. Take note of these to reveal the final coordinates for the Waiatarua Mystery cache, using the following:

S36° 5A.BCD
E174° 4E.FGH

At the time of cache placement, the cache contains a log notepad, pen, a trackable that is supposed to be in the USA, and some swag items. It is a black taped 1 liter rectangular Sistema container, covered with natural camouflage, and hidden in what should be a fairly obvious location when you get there.

The difficulty rating is based on having to find the other four first, and finding your way in. Note that it can be a little bit tricky to find a way to the physical location once you have worked out the coordinates especially with all the planting that's been done.
