Geocache Description:

The geocache is located along the Lewis and Clark Trail, a 2.5 mile walking/biking trail which runs parallel to I-65 from Southern Indiana across the Lewis and Clark Bridge and ending in Prospect, Kentucky. The cache is only accessible from the walking trail, do not attempt to find the cache from I-265, and do not park along I-265. The trail can be accessed at either end, with waypoints to the trailheads given as additional waypoints.

The long wait for the East End Bridge is over, and an added bonus is the multi-use trail connecting Indiana and Kentucky to walkers and bikers. The trail is a 15' wide paved trail open to pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles. And unlike the bridge systems for motor vehicles, there is no charge to use the trail. All caches in the series are just off the trail, with no reason to leave the paved surface. Even though there are 4' concrete barriers and handrails/fences all along the trail, it is important to keep an eye on any kids or pets that may be with you. Because of the potential for high muggle activity, I am giving generous hints to make your search a quick and enjoyable one. This cache marks the starting point on the Indiana side with ample parking nearby. The cache is a magnetized mini-tube with log only.
