Follow the Snowy Owl west along her trail through the field between the Old Mountain Road and the creek.
Cross the bridge and be careful not to lose her as she swings back into the trees (but don't be seduced by the short cut).
After coming back out to the road and crossing the cattle guard, she'll turn hard left and follow a trail up hill through the trees.
She'll tire of the trail within a minute or so and take a hard right back out into the open where the view opens up above the Old Mountain Road. Look for a couple of pieces of ribbon on both sides of the trail to spy where she went. (If you follow the trail far enough to connect with a Moose, turn around - you've gone too far!)
You may think that you've lost her at the viewpoint over the Old Mountain Road but she's only playing with you. Look back over your left shoulder and you'll see a tall stump with burn marks on it. She's nestled snugly in the top, at a very winter friendly height.
The Snowy Owl has left an appropriate stamp inside the cache. You may ‘collect’ the stamp in your letterboxing notebook if you have one, but please leave the rubber stamp in the cache. There is no stamp pad in the cache, so please bring your own if you wish to ‘collect’ the stamp.
