This cache is part of the Virginia State Parks Get L.O.S.T. (Listen, Observe, Sense, Try) geocaching adventure. Each state park has a cache for this series, each with a unique collector’s card. There are small prizes for finding 5, 10, 20, and ALL of the caches. Most parks require a small parking fee while geocaching. "Recharge" your spirit by visiting this area at dusk. As the light grows dim, allow your natural night vision to kick in as you experience the scenic surroundings in the fading light. Listen for frogs celebrating the evening with their songs. Watch for the silhouesttes of bats as they flutter above. Smell the perfume of cedar trees and blooming flowers as the moist night air increases the intensity of fragrances, or just enjoy the stillness of the water, lapping gently against the shoreline.
