ICT in USE Traditional Cache

During the project ICT in USE that is running from 2015-2017 the group of teachers from Viimsi Secondary School learnt geocaching and the use of this game in their teaching practice. During the project one cache was hidden on the peninsula of Viimsi.

Aare asub Haabneeme terviserajal, mis kulgeb poolsaare keskosas säilinud lavamaa jäänukkõrgendiku Viimsi Lubjamäe jalamil. Viimsi Lubjamäe pikkus on 3,4 km ja laius 1,6 km, aluspõhja lubjakivid asuvad siin 51,5 m üle merepinna. Aare asub põlvekõrgusest madalamal ja selle peidukohaks on puu, mis asub terviseraja staadionipoolsel serval Viimsi Kooli läheduses.

The cache is located on Haabneeme health track, which runs in the central part of the peninsula at the foot of the Viimsi Lubjamäe where the relict of the plateau has been preserved. The length of Viimsi Lubjamäe is 3.4 km and the width is 1.6 km, the bedrock limestones lie 51,5 m above sea level. The cache is located at knee level and is hidden under the tree, which grows near the health track at the side of the stadium near to the Viimsi Secondary School.
