This cache is located at the spot where my soon-to-be husband proposed to me on Christmas Morning 2016. 
After sending me on a mini-geocaching adventure via bicycle along the stunning coastline of the beautiful city we like to call home, the site of the final cache (which is now this official Geocache) can be found close to where we shared our very first date; Merewether Baths.
Although there is no longer a diamond hidden in the cache, you will find a disposable camera with which you can take a selfie if you choose with the view! Please replace the camera as it is not intended as a swapable item. The pictures will be developed and added to GZ for other cachers to enjoy:)
This site is also home to the historical Merewether coastal railway. There is a link available in the web-view to a great picture of GZ in 1902 and what it looks like today.
The once famous beachfront rail line and tunnel through the Merewether headland was one of the first of it's kind in Australia built in 1861. Little to no traces remain of the rail or tunnel, now sealed-off & obscured behind bush at the end of the dead-end path.

The waypoint added is the start of the trail where the cache is hidden, once along the trail it is quite secluded, but stealth may be required as the Baths are busy during summer months.
Please note this is an un-used trail and may be overgrown in areas, with some parts of the trail retaining water after rain. Beware of possible wildlife about!
