Hogsback is famed around the region for its waterfalls. Aside from the major ones (Madonna & Child, Swallow Tail, Bridal Veils, etc), there are so many little ones dotted along the river.
Taking a walk along the river from the trailhead on the Wolfridge Road towards Swallow Tail Falls, we came along this sound. It sounded like we had lucked into a might waterfall! But instead we found a small rapid. The sound it made seemed so strange for such a small amount of water that a cache had to be born.
Follow the above mentioned path until you see *Spoiler Pic 1*.
Continue just a few more steps and you will see a little path into the river bed to your left. Look straight ahead and see *Spoiler Pic 2*.
The cache is in exactly the middle of this picture.
You will need to cross the stream. On the day of placing this is wasn't that much of a task, but when the river is in flood.... So the difficulty and terrain rating may change accordingly.
Please replace this very carefully!
The area can be accessed from the Big Tree and Swallow Tail route, but that increases the terrain and difficulty to a 5/5.
