A short steep climb from Croft Road leads to great views of the loch and the surrounding area.
The cache is at the Cnoc na Staing viewpoint near the Kirkton woods. The path is very steep and is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams. The path can be very wet and muddy so a good pair of shoes is recommended and you should leave about 30 minutes for the round trip. Allow time for sightseeing and finding the cache. A few people will walk this path but it is not likely that you will meet anyone.
