The cache name “Kat Box Three” is because this small military box has been relocated three times to comply with approved cache locations. We spent the first day of 2017 with friends and made a full day of exploring to find the perfect spot. The weather was great following a day of rain, providing water filled washes, and no dust. With destinations like the Pumpkin Patch and Valley of Rock People, it was another fantastic desert day.
