Celebrate Caching Cabin Fever VII

There are several traditions that have grown out of our local annual winter geocaching event, Geocaching Cabin Fever.  My personal tradition is to create and hide a number of caches relative to the number of the event. For Cabin Fever Five, I put out five geocaches, for Cabin Fever Six I put out six themed caches. Guess what? It’s Cabin Fever Seven so here are seven new caches for you!

The Seven Dwarves: Bashful!

A little history…

I am sure you have all heard of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Can you name them all without looking?  The ones you are probably trying to think of are from the 1937 animated Disney film and were called; Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey.

Did you know that the dwarfs have not always been called by those names? In the original Brothers Grimm story, Snow White and the Huntsman the dwarfs were never given names.  In the 1991 film Once Upon a Time there were actually eight dwarfs.  How about Mr. Magoo’s Little Snow White with Axelrod, Bartholomew, Cornelius, Dexter, Eustace, Ferdinand, and George!  Doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue does it?  How about the 1987 film in which they were called Biddy, Bubba, Fiddy, Giddy, Iddy, Kiddy, and Liddy!

Now, about your search…

I have placed seven bison tubes ranging from micro to nano in size.  Since they were placed for a winter event, all are winter friendly.  None are placed with any terrible difficulty. They are hidden enough to hopefully keep them from getting muggled, but not so hard that your average cacher should have much trouble finding them.  They are micro and nano, so obviously BYO pen, and tweezers might help for the nano’s too!
